El Diviso: From Displacement to Sovereignty

El Diviso is a Kofán Indigenous village in the Colombian Amazon, near the Ecuadorian border. After decades of armed conflict and forced displacement, the community returned to their ancestral lands over 15 years ago, with no infrastructure, no external support, and only their vision, resilience, and sacred traditions to guide them.

Today, El Diviso is the first village in our Sovereignty Blueprint, a regenerative model designed to support cultural continuity, clean water, sustainable building, food systems, and decentralized tools like Bitcoin.

We chose El Diviso not only for the urgency of its needs, but because of the clarity of vision and leadership held by its people. Together, we are laying the groundwork for a new era of Indigenous-led regeneration, where economic freedom, environmental restoration, and ancestral wisdom go hand in hand.

Why This Matters

The next generation of medicine men and women, the future carriers of ancestral knowledge, is at risk. Out of necessity, many youth are leaving the community in search of income, education, and basic resources. Without access to dignified opportunities at home, the sacred lineage passed down from their elders is in danger of fading.

What is fueling this mission is far deeper than providing infrastructure. We are determined to create thriving conditions for youth to stay, lead, and carry forward the memory and medicine of their people.
